Today we had Zoey's first softball game...
(She's in a fast pitch softball league for 7 & 8 year old girls here in town.)
It was pretty fun... and funny!!
It's coach pitch... and at Zoey's first 2 at bats she struck-out and was a little down...

Then on her 3rd at bat she hit the ball
--- ran to first
--- and kept on running,
she hit second,
...and kept running,
she rounded third,
...and kept running.
That's right she got a in-field Home Run!!
My voice was pretty much gone by the end,
...Not from cheering,
From Yelling "STOP...STOP...!!"
She was really proud of herself...
We told her good job- but that she's supposed to stop at the bases...
What we didn't realize was that her coach was telling her to keep running!!
WAY TO LISTEN...
GREAT JOB ZO!!
(p.s. we've had a very eventful 2 weeks... so more to come about that!!)
